The City of Chandler reports water hardness from 5 to 20 grains per gallon, averaging 16.5. On the standard scale, anything over 10.5 grains is very hard.
In a shower, that shows up as white mineral film on glass and grout within months. The build can reduce it.

RDC builds tile showers on a Schluter-Kerdi bonded waterproofing membrane. A liner system is faster and cheaper, but it covers the wall instead of sealing it.

Five Questions to Ask Every Chandler Bid

- What grout, given the water? Epoxy or sealed grout should be standard, not an upgrade line.

- Who is in the house each day? The same crew from start to finish makes the finish consistent.
